Reviewer's verdict

A useful 15-minute product demo disguised as a training module. Watch it to understand the feature, but don't expect to learn how to build anything complex.

Who it's for

Absolute beginners needing a quick intro to AI Builder's capabilities.

Who should skip it

Anyone looking for a coding project or deep technical understanding.

Pros

  • Extremely short, can be completed in one sitting.
  • Clear, step-by-step instructions for the UI.
  • Good starting point to see what Power Platform can do.

Cons

  • More of a product tour than a real tutorial.
  • No real coding or problem-solving involved.
  • Assumes you have the right Power Platform license/trial active.

My Power Apps developer trial had just expired, which was annoying because I had to sign up for a new one just to do this 15-minute exercise. It's a quick click-through showing where the 'receipt processing' model lives in AI Builder and how to wire it up in Power Automate. The instructions are clear, but you don't actually build anything. You just connect a pre-built box to another pre-built box.

It was a bit of a hassle for what's basically an animated product page. The module does its job of showing you the feature exists, but that's it. It’s free, so no real loss, but don't come here expecting a hands-on lab where you train or tune a model. This is strictly for seeing what the button does before you have to explain it to a manager.
