Reviewer's verdict

This is a product feature walkthrough, not a workshop. Use it to see the UI for adding a URL as a knowledge source in Copilot Studio, but don't expect to learn how it works or to build anything.

Best for

Functional consultants needing a quick product tour of a specific Copilot Studio feature.

Watch for

It's just a sequence of screenshots and text; there is no actual lab.

Who it's for

Functional consultants needing a quick product tour of a specific Copilot Studio feature.

Who should skip it

Developers or anyone looking for a hands-on lab or conceptual understanding of RAG.

Pros

  • Quick to complete, takes less than 20 minutes.
  • A fast way to see the UI for adding knowledge sources in Copilot Studio.
  • No setup required.

Cons

  • It's just a sequence of screenshots and text; there is no actual lab.
  • Doesn't explain the underlying concepts (like RAG or orchestration) in any detail.
  • Feels more like a product documentation page than a training module.

The "Generative AI Orchestration" unit is a single paragraph. It says Copilot handles the complexity of RAG, and that's it. This isn't a workshop; it’s a guided tour of screenshots. You don't build an agent, you don't connect a real data source, you don't even get a sandbox to click around in. It's just 'here is a picture of the UI, now read a description of what the button does.' The whole thing took maybe 15 minutes, and most of that was just clicking 'Continue'.

I guess it answers the literal question of 'where is the button to add a website?', but that's a task for product documentation, not a training module. I was hoping for a tiny bit of theory on how it decides which source to use, or a simplified lab. This isn't it.
