A useful, if very high-level, primer on how Microsoft wants you to think about building agents on Azure. Good for a quick read, but don't expect to learn any practical skills.

Who it's for
Developers or PMs needing a high-level overview of Azure's AI agent architecture patterns.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for hands-on coding, labs, or a deep dive into specific tools.
Pros
Quick, high-level overview of Azure's recommended architecture.
Introduces concepts like multi-agent orchestration and cost management.
Good starting point before diving into longer documentation.
Cons
Purely a slide deck in text form; no hands-on labs or code.
Mentions 'Foundry' but doesn't explain what it is or how to use it.
The 'Knowledge check' is too simple to be useful.
This whole module is a slide deck, just without the slides. It's a quick read, but the diagrams are all super high-level boxes-and-arrows. One minute they're talking about orchestration patterns, the next they drop a tool name like 'Foundry' with zero context. I had to open a new tab just to figure out what it was.
The content itself is okay for understanding concepts—like separating the 'brain' from the 'tools' in a multi-agent setup. But there's nothing to actually *do*. No code, no labs, not even a complex scenario to think through. The knowledge check at the end felt like it was just testing if I had read the previous page. I guess it gives you the right vocabulary for a meeting, but you won't be able to build anything after finishing this. It’s more of a product brochure for Azure's AI stack.
