This isn't a course, it's an advertisement for paid corporate training. Skip it and do Microsoft's actual free learning modules instead.

Who it's for
Educators whose schools are paying for this specific partner training.
Who should skip it
Self-learners or anyone looking for a free, hands-on introduction.
Pros
Official branding from Microsoft.
Might be useful if you've never heard of Copilot before.
Directs you to find a training partner, which is a clear (if unhelpful) next step.
Cons
Not a self-paced course; it's a listing for paid, partner-led training.
No actual content or hands-on labs on the page.
Pricing is completely opaque and requires contacting third-party vendors.
The free 'Embark on your AI journey' module is a much better starting point.
This entire page is just a redirect. It's not a course. The '1-hour' in the title refers to a syllabus that some third-party 'Microsoft Training Partner' is supposed to teach you. There are no videos, no text, no labs—just a link to a search portal where you're meant to find and pay one of these partners. Who knows what it costs or when they run it.
I probably spent more time trying to figure out what this page even was than the 'course' itself is supposed to last. It’s completely useless for a self-learner. The title is so misleading; Microsoft Learn has tons of actual free, self-paced content, but this isn't it. It feels like part of their corporate training catalog that somehow ended up indexed in the public-facing section.
My guess is this is meant for school districts or companies that buy training packages in bulk. For an individual, it's a total dead end. I went back and found the module called 'Embark on your AI journey with free AI tools from Microsoft Education.' That one is actually free, has content, and you can finish it in about an hour. From the description, it covers some of the same ground, like Copilot in Word and Edge. Just use that instead. This link is a waste of a click.
