A comprehensive, hands-on course for engineers serious about productionizing both traditional ML and LLM apps on Azure. It's a serious time investment but provides a solid, practical foundation in MLOps and GenAIOps.

Who it's for
Engineers and data scientists implementing production AI systems on Azure.
Who should skip it
Beginners, non-Azure users, or those seeking a theoretical overview.
Pros
Covers both MLOps and the newer GenAIOps in one structured curriculum.
Hands-on with practical tools like Bicep and GitHub Actions, not just portal clicks.
Moves beyond notebooks to production concerns like monitoring and IaC.
Cons
Requires significant time commitment as an instructor-led course.
Focus is entirely on the Azure ecosystem; less portable to other clouds.
Pace can be fast if you're new to either Azure or DevOps practices.
Twelve days of instructor-led time is a big ask, but it gets you past the usual 'train a model in a notebook' stage. The second half, on GenAIOps with Microsoft Foundry, felt less like marketing slides and more like actual engineering. We were writing Bicep templates for infrastructure and wiring up GitHub Actions for CI/CD, which is where the real work happens.
I was skeptical they could merge classic MLOps and the new LLM stuff without it being a mess. They pulled it off. You see how monitoring a deployed scikit-learn model is different from evaluating a RAG pipeline. My only complaint is the dependency on an instructor. I'd rather have the labs and a clear repo to work through on my own time. Still, if your company is paying, this is how you connect the data science experiments to a real production environment on Azure.
