This is a certification primer, not a builder's course. It's about knowing the names of the buttons in the admin center, not what they do under the hood. Only take it if your boss makes you.

Who it's for
IT professionals whose company is paying for a foundational M365 overview.
Who should skip it
Developers or anyone needing to actually build or integrate with these tools.
Pros
Covers the official terminology for M365 and Copilot administration.
Good for getting a high-level view if your job requires it.
Content is up-to-date as of its last revision.
Cons
Extremely high-level; more of a product tour than training.
Instructor-led format feels wasted on what is essentially reading documentation aloud.
Zero hands-on coding or deep technical configuration.
The entire three-day session could have been a 90-minute video. Instead, it was 24 hours of watching someone click through the M365 admin center, reading slide titles aloud. The 'AI administration' part? Just a tour of the Copilot settings panel. Where do I set policies? How do I audit usage via API? How does this connect to anything outside the Microsoft walled garden? Not covered.
This is pure certification fodder. It teaches you the marketing names for features so you can pass a multiple-choice test. Not for people who build things. I was hoping for some substance on managing agents or integrating custom data, but it's all surface-level. If your job as a functional consultant requires checking a box, fine. If you need to actually *do* anything, this is a hard pass.
